SharpScan Pro: OCR PDF scanner App Reviews

This is a fantastic little app! I use it everyday. The only thing I wish it had is the ability to create folders within the app. To keep scans of the same nature altogether in one place. Highly recommended!

Ok, ir seems this app works ok, it recognizes the text of your document, it can upload your files directly to DropBox... But it is only the image, if you want the text, even a copy, you have to pay an extra 3.50. No deal

Excellent way to get text from scan

Over the past few years Ive tried probably 20 scanning apps, including all the most popular ones. They all do the basic scanning part very well, but they differ in UI and work flow. Thats where this one really shines. Its just more intuitively set up than the others (in my opinion) and its the only one that actually does reliably detect edges. It has a handy Auto upload feature (which I dont personally use since it changes everything to pdf whereas I prefer jpg.... Have to manually upload to do jpg). Plus theres the option for OCR to convert the scanned image to text. Ive only used it a few times and I cant remember if it was a paid add on (might have been) but still I really like it.

The quality and ease of use is second to none.

I had to put one star in order to write a review. The pro versionshows as free app. In "free apps today" with the price scratched. But once you download it, its not free. You still have to pay for the pro version.

I have been tried too many apps before. Obviously this is the best app in all of them. No need to tell about entire details. Everyone should try and experience this app. Thanks to developers..

4,49€ if I want upload .txt to my e-mail, dropbox or evernote?! No thanks!

It works really good, Ive been searching for a good scanner and after trying out few apps I stick with this one. Its not flawless but its good. Size of files is quite big (but thats for the highest quality). Auto upload doesnt work every time, and it sometimes crashes but rarely so its acceptable ;)

Cannot even copy recognized text - useless until youll pay extr charge.

Take a photo of your papers and it lets you square up your photos or documents so they look great. Then email them out. Works good for me.

I use the app almost daily to scan receipts for my business. The app automatically backs them up to my Dropbox and they are on my laptop when Im completing my reports. I also use this often to scan important docs and create electronic copies. The best personal use Ive found is for storing personal receipts I may need several months from now and would easily lose or throw away otherwise. Clean, crisp and reliable are the best words I would use to describe this app. Great job guys!
